Defensive Driving

Driving is an activity favored by many people, young and old men, men and women, but without their realizing this activity has claimed many lives, many mild and severe injuries to these events is not increased then the driver should be driving the defensive, defensive driving keys is, behavior, space and visibility, some important points should be do by the driver is:

• Look a head as far as you can
• Controlling vehicle surroundings
• Ability to analyze potential hazards and risks
• Communicate with other road users
• Creating a safe distance with the existing vehicle in front
• Set the speed according to the current environment
• Understanding the travel management
• Good habits and attitude
• Understand all the features of the vehicle

By applying all the above points driving safe can be achieved and you will drive safely and comfortably


Driving Efficiency

The definition of efficient driving is driving with the result that output is equivalent to the use of fuel, many drivers who operate vehicles in ways that do not yet know how to drive with an efficient, if more competent driver with efficient driving will be able to reduce pollution levels even reduce the rate inflations considering the state not as the oil exporters, to find a way to drive the efficiency may take a few tactics:

Look ahead as far as you can !

What is the distance of Visibility?
The definition of visibility is the ability of the driver's eyes to see how far he could see. Cause in techniques to drive a driver should ideally be able to see 30 seconds ahead minimize, why should be able to see it as far as he/she can?
Before we answer the questions they will let us examine this explanation
Visibility in driving techniques are divided into 3 zones namely:

1) Seeing zone
2) Analysis of zone
3) The reaction zone

When a vehicle is drove the driver need to see the three zones at the same time they will be, if it is done correctly then any potential risks already seen 30 seconds in advance so drivers have the opportunity to view, analyze and address the accidents can be avoided.
In general, objects are on seeing zone still can be identified, for example if the driver saw the hole at a distance of 30 seconds ahead so they will not know the driver into the hole he had seen, when the hole was in the analysis zone is able to analyze by driver of potential dangers and risks faced up, common mistake is the low ability of field of view so that the relevant drivers saw the danger was at the reaction zone and the result is not an opportunity to analyze so that accidents happen

Safe Following Distance

Tabrakan beruntun dapat terjadi bila ketika mengemudi tidak memperhitungkan jarak aman, faktor jarak aman terdiri atas 3 element yaitu:

Human Reaction Time ( Reaksi Manusia )
Kecepatan reaksi manusia berbeda antara satu dan lainya, manusia yang secara fisik lebih sehat memiliki kecepatan reaksi lebih cepat dibanding dengan manusia pada umumnya menurut Defensive and Hand On Driving School kecepatan reaksi manusia antara 0.3 - 0.8 detik

Mechanical Reaction ( Reaksi Mekanik )
Reaksi mekanik sangat mempengaruhi jarak pengereman oleh karena itu hal ini perlu menjadi pertimbangan dalam mengemudikan kendaraan, dari riset yang dilakukan oleh Hardie Ferrodo dinyatakan reaksi mekanik antara 0.3 - 0.4 detik

Kinetic Force ( Momentum )
Momentum merupakan sebuah energy yang sangat besar dan dapat menyebabkan hilang traksi pada roda kendaraan dan ini secara fakta akan menyebabkan jarak berhenti kendaraan semakin panjang ( jauh ) oleh karena itu dalam membuat jarak aman ketiga faktor diatas harus mendapat pertimbangan bagi seorang pengemudi agar dapat mencegah/terhindar dari tabrakan beruntun.
Jadi untuk mendapatkan jarak aman saat berkendaraan dapat simpulkan sebagai berikut HRT+MRT+KF
